Well Hydrated ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

Hydration logs — your daily water intake entries, stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud Key-Value Storage (your personal iCloud account — not our servers).
Streak and goal data — your current streak, personal goals, and unlocked milestones. Stored locally and optionally via iCloud KV.
Weather data — we request approximate weather for your region via Open-Meteo (an open-source API) to adjust your daily goal on hot days. No location data is stored or transmitted beyond the API call.
Purchase data — Well Plus subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase and entitlement data per their privacy policy.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.
We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, local notifications are scheduled on-device. No notification data leaves your device.

Donations (charity: water)

When your 30-day streak triggers a $1 donation, the transaction is routed through Every.org, a registered 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. Only anonymous transaction data required to complete the donation is shared. No personal data is collected or stored by Well Hydrated in connection with donations.

Children

Well Hydrated is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed into iCloud, your streak and goal data may sync across your devices via Apple iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
